SHOW PREPARATION INSPIRATION AND EXPLORATION After discussing what we are planning to put into our Show, we realized that we are both inspired by the area in which we live; nature, local scenery, stories, and the different seasons. Equally, we are both exploring different techniques in at least two mediums. Brenda is exploring more sculpture using gourds and armatures, and drawing using her wood burning tool on both gourds and paper materials. Althea is developing various water colour techniques and styles, and again exploring 3D ideas of nature and landscape in an assortment of fabrics and embellishments. Both Brenda and myself are working hard to get our art work ready for our Show in August. Below is the centre piece of a large scenic picture by Althea.
